About the Author

I am a husband of nearly 30 years and a father of a teenage son. I have been an associate pastor, interim pastor, or senior pastor for 23 years. And I’ve been preaching for 25 years. Most recently at the SouthPoint Fellowship, a church plant in Pearland, Texas.

My education and experience includes a BS in Engineering from Texas A&M University and a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary in Church Educational Leadership. My first mission trip was to Enugu, Nigeria with Campus Crusade For Christ. I lead a team to Ghana to work with missionaries from World Venture in 2011. I have also lead trips to Ethiopia, Guatemala and I taught classes at Moffat Bible College in Kenya.

I have been an adjunct professor at the College of Biblical Studies Houston where I taught bible exposition and theology courses. I am currently an instructor at The Opened Bible Academy in Houston.

I have been writing for 6 years. It began as a way capture my thoughts when I found I could no longer rely on my memory. Since then it has become an extension of my ministry and a means to reach and teach what the Lord has given me to share.
